RISING STARS OF BELLY DANCE @ Marino Adriatic Cafe. This show is every first Friday of the month. It features the lovely ingenues of the belly dance community. Come see these up and coming dancers as they forge their way into the thriving belly dance scene that exists in our wonderful city! BELLA NOTTE @ Vino Vixens. This Belly Dance/Variety show takes place on the last Friday of the month. Bella Notte features a variety of Portland's professional belly dancers, with a sprinkle of other types of performances thrown in for good measure! Bella Notte frequently has live music to entertain you as well! You never know what we may have up our sleeves! It could be a Polynesian troupe, a break dancer, Latin dancing, a didgeridoo, a full live band, a hula hoop performance, or a burlesque performance! We love surprises, and we love variety! Our belly dancers come from various performance styles as well, ranging from Egyptian or Turkish cabaret, to American Tribal Style, to Tribal Fusion and many other types of fusion performances danced by some of the area's best! This is a show you won't want to miss! Vino Vixens is a warm, friendly environment - it feels like you have a belly dance show going on in your own living room while surrounded by your friends! Vino Vixens has a full gourmet menu, as well as a wine shop with an amazing selection of wines from around the world! This show is 21+ only. Cover charge is $8-10 sliding scale suggested donation. It's going to be an epic good time! There will be live Middle Eastern music and 13 GHOULISHLY GORGEOUS Belly Dancers! We'll have plenty of open dancing, and a heated Hookah Tent outside! We'll have a door prize raffle, and everyone arriving in full Halloween costume will given one free raffle ticket with purchase of one or more raffle tickets! $10 Cover.
